H.E. Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Federal Republic of Germany met Dr. Michael Lüders, President of the German-Arab Association DAG, and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Middle East and Near East Association (Numov) and the Islamic World, at the Embassy premises on the 4th of December, 2017.
The two sides discussed the current situation in the region and means of enhancing bilateral cooperation between the two countries at various levels, especially in the cultural field. The Qatar-German Cultural Year 2017 and the successful series of cultural events coinciding with the opening of the "Arabic Cultural House, The Diwan" in Berlin laid the foundation for cultural bilateral relations that value dialogue, respect and mutual understanding.
