H.E Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Federal Republic of Germany, met with H.E. Mr. Thomas Bareiß, the Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy & Chairman of the Joint Qatari-German Joint Committee for Economic, Commercial and Technical Cooperation.

H.E. The Ambassador delivered an invitation from H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, to the German Federal Minister H.E. Mr. Peter Altmaier, Minister of Economy and Energy, to participate in the 19th Doha Forum, which will be held in December under the theme ‘’Reimagining Governance in a Multipolar World.’’

During the meeting, they discussed a number of issues of mutual interest and ways of enhancing mutual cooperation. H.E. The Ambassador praised the excellent work of the Committee and thanked Mr. Bareiß for his efforts in strengthening the relations of economic cooperation between the two countries. On his part, H.E. Mr. Bareiß affirms the German commitment to achieve the goals of joint cooperation between the two friendly countries
