Qatar’s Amir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, arrived in Germany on October 2024 as part of an official European tour aimed at strengthening diplomatic and economic ties.

Accompanied by Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, as well as a high-level delegation, the Amir met with the German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and with the German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

According to a statement from the Amiri Diwan, discussions focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation across various sectors, along with a range of regional and international issues of mutual concern.
