H.E. Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, the Ambassador of the State of Qatar in Germany described the bilateral relations between Qatar and Germany as solid and brotherly. In a telephone conversation with the Westdeutscher Rundfunk (WDR), the ambassador said that Germany’s position is distinguished in regards to the siege imposed on the State of Qatar. The ambassador pointed out that Germany called for dialogue to resolve the Gulf crisis, and this distinguishes the rational role of Germany. He also referred to the Qatari investment in Germany and Kuwait's role in the Gulf reconciliation.
