H.E. the Chief of Staff of the Qatar Armed Forces Major General Ghanim bin Shaheen Al-Ghanim met with General Volker Wicker, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Germany. H.E. Al-Ghanim held a meeting with Lieutenant General Erich Pfeffer, Commander of the German Bundeswehr Joint Forces Operations Command. During the meeting, a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest were discussed as well as means of strengthening and developing the bilateral relations in the military field. 

H.E. Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, the ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Federal Republic of Germany attended the meeting.
