The German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (HK) Hamburg and Euro-Mediterranean - Arab Association (EMA) organized a roundtable in honour of H.E. Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, the Ambassador of the State of Qatar, who gave a lecture to a number of entrepreneurs, economists and representatives of German companies of the north region of Germany.

H.E the Ambassador presented the current economic situation in the State of Qatar and the rich investment opportunities within its secure environment. The Ambassador reviewed the practical steps that the State of Qatar has taken to prompt its sources of income diversification in order to increase the competitiveness of its economy and ensures its integration to the world economy.

H.E. the Ambassador discussed the important role of investment to the government of the State of Qatar which enhances the culture of innovation and localize industries. In addition, H.E. The Ambassador said: "The State of Qatar is confident in realizing its ambitions and implementing the plans of economic transformation in an intelligent and unique manner in line with the new changes,". At the end of the meeting, His Excellency answered the questions and inquiries of the participants.
