H.E. Sheikh Saoud Bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Federal Republic of Germany delivered a lecture at the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Munich and Upper Bavaria to a large number of businessmen, economists and representatives of German companies in the region of southern Germany.

H.E. The Ambassador presented the economic situation in Qatar and its promising investment opportunities and the safe investment climate. H.E. The Ambassador pointed out at the practical steps taken by the State of Qatar to diversify its sources of income and increasing the competitiveness of its national economy in order to ensure integration into the global economy and keeping up with contemporary developments.

Meanwhile, H.E. The Ambassador noted that the government of the State of Qatar attaches great importance to investing in human capital, promoting the culture of innovation and localizing industries, "The State of Qatar is confident in realizing its ambitions and implementing the plans of economic transformation in an intelligent and unique manner in line with the new changes," he said.

His Excellency also held a number of meetings at the Bavarian Ministry of Economy, Energy and Technology. These meetings focused on fostering cooperation on the economic level and ways to develop the established bilateral relations between the State of Qatar and Bavaria.
